About Me

Welcome to Glassey Sports Care. I’m Dr. Collin Glassey, a physical therapist with a passion for helping active individuals recover from injury, build strength, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them. I earned my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Alvernia University. I have been practicing in the outpatient setting since 2020, working with individuals across a wide range of ages, abilities, and activity levels.

My interest in movement and performance extends well beyond the clinic. I’ve been involved in the CrossFit community since 2014 and have trained and competed across both strength and endurance sports, including completing three Half Ironman triathlons. Those experiences have given me an appreciation for the demands we place on our bodies—and how frustrating it can be when pain or injury prevents us from doing what we enjoy.

My Approach

I created Glassey Sports Care around a simple idea: rehabilitation shouldn’t end when the pain goes away.

My approach combines a detailed assessment, hands-on treatment when appropriate, and individualized exercise prescription. Rather than simply treating where something hurts, I want to understand how you move, what your body is currently capable of, and what it needs to be capable of for you to return to your goals.

That might mean getting back under a barbell, returning to running, riding a horse, playing recreational sports, working a physically demanding job, or simply staying active with your family.

You don’t have to compete to be an athlete.

I believe everyone deserves an individualized approach that considers their lifestyle, goals, and the physical demands they encounter outside of the clinic.

My goal is not only to help you recover, but also to give you a better understanding of your body and provide you with the tools to continue building strength, confidence, and resilience long after our time together.

Glassey Sports Care

Whether you’re working through an injury, returning to an activity you love, or simply trying to keep your body performing at its best, I want to help bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. Because ultimately, being able to move and perform isn’t reserved for competitive athletes.

Your life is your sport. Train for it.
